Nice features but not what we expected from Nikon. The camera has some mechanical weak points and is still not a true replacement for the well built D300/s that Isaac loved for a DX camera. Isaac, our factory trained technician with 35 years of expertise has used the Nikon D7100 and the new D750 and is still waiting for a “true” replacement for the D300 series camera. Not every photographer can spend $3,000.00 and up for a rock solid camera that can handle big lenses. One of the best features on a cropped sensor found in Nikon DX cameras is the ability to utilized the 1.5x lens magnification factor for those who cannot afford lenses above 300mm or 400mm. Isaac traded in his D300s for the D7100 and uses a Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 VR lens for shooting Miami Dolphins football games. Isaac can add a tele-converter to this lens and get the shots he needs, but the D7100 and D750 are still a disappointment for those in need of a professional grade DX camera.
