  • This is the camera current Canon 7D owners have been waiting for. The success of the Canon 7D prompted Canon to continue the 7D product with higher mega-pixels and improved performance.
  • Check out these new features on the 7D Mark II:
  • 20.2 Megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor, ISO 100-16000 (expandable to H1: 25600, H2: 51200) and Dual DIGIC 6 Image Processors.
  • High speed continuous shooting up to 10.0 fps allows you to capture fast action.
  • 65-point all cross-type AF system for high-performance, accurate subject tracking with EV -3 sensitivity (center point).
  • Dual Pixel CMOS AF for smooth, fast, and accurate autofocus when shooting videos and instant and precise autofocus when shooting stills.

Southern Photo Technical Service is you canon Authorized Service Center and has tested this camera. Isaac, our master technician with over 35 years experience in camera repairs as a factory trained technician said its a nice upgrade, full of features and  the only issue he has, is the same for all Canon camera below the 1D-series…. “The camera is built on a very thin sheet metal chassis and the screws that hold it all together are very short threaded and will tend to vibrate loose and cause electrical or mechanical malfunctions.” Isaac also noticed that the continuous focusing mode for tracking moving subjects is not reliable for sports photographers when shooting at 10 fps, so if your a professional, shooting sport photography, stick to the Canon 1Dx.
